Red Caffeine Marketing + Technology is honored to have been selected as the 2015 Small Company winner in The Daily Herald Business Ledger’s 25th Annual Awards for Business Excellence recognition program.

Red Caffeine has experienced significant growth in just over one year in business. By focusing on four key areas—Sales and Marketing, Financials, Operations and Talent Management—the company was able to exceed it’s first year revenue goals, as well as industry benchmarks in net and gross profits.

Emphasis on Workplace Quality

Workplace quality and company culture is extremely important to the Red Caffeine team. We love what we do, and that spills over into how we impact our clients’ businesses.

Red Caffeine’s founding principles are guided by participation in the Inc. Small Giants Community. Small Giants is group of businesses located worldwide, all of which define success by more than just their financial bottom line. Also important are contributions to their communities, a dedication to great customer service and the creation and preservation of workplace cultures of excellence.

Red Caffeine is also a Great Game of Business practitioner. That means all team members have a stake in the financial success of the business and the opportunity to earn more. Founder Kathy Steele’s philosophy is “profit provides”—it allows us to provide financial security and a better life balance for our employees and the wherewithal to give back to our community.

Innovation in its Processes or Procedures

Innovation is what drives the Red Caffeine team. Our Consistent + Proven process is the key to our success.  We Discover, Create and Launch the hottest technology and marketing strategies in the industry.

Right brain, left brain—we’ve got it all going on. Our multidisciplinary team packs a potent blend of creative and analytical expertise into all we do. Each side makes the other better. The result: we find the best way to ensure maximum engagement with your stakeholders, both on- and offline.

Support of the Business Community at Large Through Charitable or Volunteer Efforts

The Red Caffeine team actively supports the community with service donations to non-profit groups, as well as mentoring and teaching at nearby schools and participating in local chamber and community groups.

Here are just some of the programs in which we “give back”: Clearbrook Charities, Golden Corridor Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (GCAMP), Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Elmhurst College Mentoring Programs, Elk Grove Village High School Entrepreneur Program and Engaging Philanthropy Inspiring Creatives (EPIC).

Mentoring or Internships Programs

Adam Dickens, Red Caffeine’s Production Director, mentored two students over an academic year through the Elmhurst College Mentoring program. He advised them on their career search, shared professional knowledge and experience and facilitated job-shadowing opportunities.

Jimmy Merritello, Red Caffeine’s Strategy Lead, mentored future entrepreneurs in the Elk Grove High School Business Incubator Entrepreneurship Program. He provided students with real-world marketing context and explained how to use this information for business entrepreneurship.

As the cherry on top, we also established an internship program. This program has been beneficial in both integrating fresh grads into the workforce as well as building up the Red Caffeine team. We have had great success with converting internships into full-time positions.

The Red Caffeine team will be attending the AABE award evening recognition reception and awards presentation at Medinah Banquets, located at 550 N. Shriners Drive in Addison, on Wednesday, March 11.
